If you’re planning a birthday or engagement party, a work or Christmas function, a school or family reunion, a wrap party or product launch, or even a wake, the Ivory Lounge is the perfect relaxed venue for gatherings large and small.
Whether it’s a private reservation for a select few, or exclusive use of the entire bar, simply tell us what you’d like and we’ll take care of the details.
Private reservation
We’ll reserve a special area for you and your guests with free entertainment provided by our in-house artists. You’ll have dedicated waiting staff for the evening. There is no private reservation fee* for groups over 20.
Exclusive venue hire
Enjoy the sole use of all the Ivory Lounge facilities for groups of 150 or more. Choose from our Events Menu below to make your gathering truly memorable. There is no fee for exclusive venue hire*.

Entertainment
The Ivory Lounge is the perfect venue for live entertainment, with two baby grand pianos and a state of the art sound system. One of our regular performers can set the mood with your choice of jazz, rock, soul, cabaret, classical, easy listening and more – see our “Performers” page for the full repertoire. We can also help you find other entertainers (eg. country & western, a capella, string quartet) to fit the style of your event. And we can arrange a professional MC to keep the evening running smoothly.
Décor and themes
Simply let us know how you’d like the bar themed and we’ll take it from there. 60's, 70's and 80's night, Black and White, Gangster…if you can name it, we can theme it. We can arrange props hire and staging, costumes and even themed entertainers (eg. magicians, impersonators). Stuck for a theme? We’ve got some amazing ideas, just ask!
Professional staff
Our fully-qualified bar and waiting staff will be at your disposal for the evening. They can dress to fit your theme or wear your promotional gear. We can also arrange for experienced promotional staff to be your brand ambassadors for the evening.
Catering options
Our chef can tailor our snack, platter and pizza menu to suit your requirements, and will work with you to create a mouth-watering menu that’s within your budget. Let us know of any special dietary needs and we’ll do what we can to accommodate you. We are also happy to liaise with outside caterers for specially themed evenings (eg. Japanese, Indian, Thai).
Cocktail school
Our head barman, is available to instruct your guests in the fine art of cocktail making. Choose a fewof your favourite tipples to create on the night, and we’ll book the taxi home!
Promotion facilities
We can organise projectors, screens, computers etc for multi-media presentations.

The Ivory Lounge is available for private reservations and exclusive hire seven days a week, all year round (excluding xxx Christmas? Easter? Anzac Day?. Naturally Fridays and Saturdays are our busiest times, so make sure you’re in early to book for these days.
